Poker is a great casino game. But, to play well you must understand it. Keep in mind the values of cards and the order of increasing value is 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, jack (J), queen (Q), king (K) and ace (A). The ace can usually double as the lowest card when necessary. You need to be familiarized with the definitions and values of different hands in poker. The nine hands are: one pair, two pair, three of a kind, straight, flush, full house, four of a kind, straight flush and royal flush. A given hand will beat all other hands listed before it. Know that, one pair is of any two cards of same numerical value, together with any three other cards. Learn that, two pair means two different pairs of cards and one extra card. Realize that, three of a kind means three cards of same numerical value and two other extra cards. Remember that, a straight refers to five cards in numerical order. Note that, a flush is of five non-sequential cards belonging to the same suit. Keep in mind that, a royal flush contains the 10, jack, queen, king and ace together which belong to a single suit. Poker is not only a game of cards but also a game of betting. In poker game, betting plays an important role. So it’s necessary to understand something about it before going to play. Each poker hand is made up of several betting rounds. The number of betting rounds may be different according to poker variations. The betting moves clockwise around the table in every round. Each player in turn must either take the bet of the previous player (call) or get out of it (fold).  Instead of just calling, when it’s your turn to bet you can also choose to bet more than the last bet (raise). It is over when all the players have either folded or called the last raise. All bets are added to the pot. Players remaining in the hand have to put in the same amount. In fact, they have matched the biggest bet in that betting round. Players should agree on the price to see another card. When the betting round is over, if all players have folded except one, the remaining player will win the pot. If everybody folds, it is not needed to show your cards. There are various manners in which you can play Poker on more than one table. It is possible to play two tables simultaneously at one poker site. Technically speaking, two ways exist to play two tables. The majority of players just take a seat at two tables and switch between them. Another way to do it is to shrink the screen size of each table, allowing you to see both simultaneously. To accomplish this, right click on your desktop and choose “Properties,” followed by “Settings”, which lets you manipulate the screen area. You must increase the pixels to shrink a table. This one isn’t for people whose eyesight is poor: the screens are going to be rather small. What’s worse is that more ancient monitors might not be capable of accommodating changes to pixels, so you can only do this with more recent hardware. If you can handle small screens, this avenue is beneficial because it’s easier for you to keep up with the action at more than one table.
